How to Place an Order

Placing an order with Customizeyourlife.com is very easy. We want to make sure that you are comfortable with the order process and want to provide you with some easy steps to guide you through the process.

Starting Your Order

From the Customizeyourlife.com main page, decide which product you would like to order by clicking on the icons either for a man, woman child or pet. If you would like a certain color for your shirt you can pick from a choice of colors on this page.

If you move your mouse over the designs you will be able to see what it looks like on your shirt without having to actually click the design.

As you can see there are many designs available and you are able to browse through the different categories by clicking on the red arrows on each page. When you have made a choice, click on a design that looks appealing to you.

Pick You Size and Adjust the Graphic and Text

This will take you to the next page. Now you can pick the size that is right for you and adjust the size of your graphic to make sure that it fits the size of your shirt and adjust the size of the graphic to your specific requirements. For example you may want your graphic to only be two or three inches in dimension, where as someone else may want their design to fit the whole shirt.

At any stage through out most of the site you can make changes whether that is to the color, style or type of customization.

At this point you can also:

Add your own text

Add your own unique image

Add another image from the design library

Resize and rotate the images on the shirt

Adjust the color, saturation and contrast.

Just click on any one of the boxes below the image of your design, for whatever operation you need to perform. For example: If I want to “Add Text”.

I just need to click the tab and a small text box will open ready for me to type in the text that I want.

Everything that you add to your shirt or product is added in layers. To the right hand side you can see all the layers that you might have added and these are called the design layers.

You are also able to switch between your artwork and the product with the tabs at the top of the design layers. This will help you if you decide that you want to change the shirt that you chose to a different type.

Once you are ready click ‘Add to Cart’. This will summarize the items that you have bought so far. You have the options of emptying your cart and starting the process again, continuing to shop and buy more products or check out. You may edit or remove your design at this stage as well.

Proceeding to Check Out

If you have decided that you are ready to place your order, you will then press the ‘proceed to checkout’ button. This will then guide you to a Personal Details Page.

Here you will either enter your username and password if you are a returning user or you will click the new customer link to enter your personal information and enter a new user name and password into the system.

If you have forgotten your user name and password you will be able to recover this information using the recover password button on this page.

Shipping and Payment

Once you have entered your username and password you will then choose the type of shipping that you would like for your order, for example, four day shipping.

This will allow our order system to calculate the cost of your order and give you a total amount due that needs to be paid. You can then enter your credit card information in the required fields of the order form.

Once this is done you will be required to click the ‘place my order’ tab to complete the process and confirm your order.

Please print the order page for your records and you will also receive a confirmation email to the email address that is associated with your account.
